Community Advisory Council
This Thursday, the 16th, from 5:30-7:30pm will be our monthly meeting where we seek input on programming here at the agency. Everyone is welcome and each meeting has food and door prizes. For more info call, John Marcus, 313-846-6030 x1403.

Native American Beaded Jewelry Class
The North American Indian Association is offering this class with instructor, Sam Wix. The classes began April 9th and will meet Thursdays 5 – 8pm.

Sweetgrass Basket-making Class
Instructor: James Aquash, Potawatomi sweetgrass basket artist. Location: North American Indian Association.
James Aquash is a talented sweetgrass artists who participated in the Great Lakes American Indian Basket and Boxmakers event hosted by Michigan State University Museum and the Nokomis Learning Center. He also had his work exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit in 2012.
