Cancellation of Women’s Sweat Lodge
Due to funeral services for Dennis Banks, we are cancelling the women’s sweat lodge we had planned for this Saturday, November 4th.
Sacred Fire
Dennis Banks was an Anishinaabe Native American leader, teacher, lecturer, activist and author born on the Leech Lake Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota. He was a founding member and a longtime leader of the American Indian Movement who later led marches across the United States for justice and spiritual healing.
AIHFS will be hosting a sacred fire on Saturday 11/4/17, 4:30pm-7:30pm. Everyone is welcome to come and offer prayers or visit.
