Community Cooking Series
Thursday, August 10, will be our next AIHFS weekly community interactive cooking lesson using healthy recipes and traditional Native American foods. Participants at least 8 years of age & up will get a gift card for each session they complete.
AIHFS Pow Wow and Health Fair
Saturday, August 19, 12pm to 4pm, we will have our annual pow wow and health fair! We are open to all dancers. We will have Native American arts and crafts, as well as Native food available for purchase. The event will be open to the public beginning at 11am. This is a free event and we are recommending you bring your lawn chairs so you’ll be able to watch all the dancing in comfort. This year’s pow wow will be at Romanowski Park which is right around the corner from our agency. For vendor information, contact Casey Brant at firstname.lastname@example.org This is a drug and alcohol free event. For general information please email Fred Blaisdell at email@example.com
Wellness Walk 2017
Join us for a one mile Wellness Walk before the pow wow on August 19th at 10:00am. It’s a great way to wake up your body and mind, view our new gardens, and to have fun with old and new friends! There is no need to pre-register but the first 50 attendees will be eligible for a free t-shirt. We hope to see you there!
