Community Meeting
Tuesday, May 23rd, at the ACCESS Community Health and Research Center, 6450 Maple, in Dearborn, Michigan there will be a community meeting surrounding healthcare policy, empowerment and community engagement. Healthy Start Playgroup
Families with young children are invited to join us for our May playgroup on Friday, May 26 from 11am-1:30pm. This month we will be planting in the planting flowers in the Healthy Start garden, as well as playing with water and sand. Please come dressed for messy outdoor fun! Holiday Agency Closure
Monday, May 29th, American Indian Health & Family Services will be closed for the Memorial Day holiday. We will resume regularly scheduled business on Tuesday, May 30th. Have a great Day!
Linguistic Conference
Wednesday, June 21st, at the Westland City Hall, the wayne county system of care is having a linguistics conference. This is their 2nd annual children’s cultural linguistic competency summit: paradigm shifts in cultural & linguistic competency in children’s system of care. Note: This is free for those working within Wayne County. Please be advised that those outside of Wayne County will be charged $15 to attend.
