Today, Wednesday, August 10th, from 6-8pm, AIHFS is hosting a fundraising dinner to help send Shiloh and Rosebud to the Slow Food Global conference in Turin, Italy. The suggested donation for each dinner is $10.

Northern Indigenous Games

AIHFS Pow Wow and Health Fair
Saturday, August 27, 12pm to 5pm, we will have our annual pow wow and health fair! The event will be open to the public beginning at 11am, which is when we will also have a Wellness Walk. Our host drum will be Southern Straight and we are open to all dancers. We will have Native American arts and crafts, as well as Native food available for purchase. This is a free event and we are recommending you bring your lawn chairs so you’ll be able to watch all the dancing in comfort. Lights of Hope
The Lights of Hope event will take place on Tuesday, September 13th, during the annual American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network Advocacy Leadership Summit and Lobby Day. At dusk bags will be lit and line the U.S. Capitol Reflecting Pool while survivors, caregivers and lawmakers reflect and give remarks.
