Little Dreamers Program
Thursday, May 26, from 5pm-7pm, we will be having our monthly meeting of the Little Dreamers Program. This is a program for engagement with 5 to 7 year old children focusing on wellness and learning more about Native American culture. Please call Martha or Christy to sign up, 313-846-6030.

Youth Mental Health First Aid
AIHFS will be holding a Youth Mental Health First Aid Training June 11, 2016 8:30am-5:00pm here at the agency in the Social Hall. Similar to First Aid and CPR, Mental Health First Aid teaches individuals how to help youth experiencing mental health challenges or crises. This training is free and is open to the public. Participants will receive a certificate backed by the National Council for Behavioral Healthcare and a participant manual. This is the grand entry from the American Indian Festival at Algonac High School in Clay, Mi. held April 30, 2016. AIHFS was a partner at this event and we had a great time meeting lots of old friends and new friends.

This August 1st event will benefit the American Indian Health & Family Services of Southeastern Michigan. Law School Admissions Workshops
The Native American Pipeline to Law Pre-Law programs educate and help students successfully navigate the law school application process. They will be having a workshop at Michigan State University August 5-6, 2016.
