Dr. Darryl Tonemah Video
This AIHFS video was made at an event we co-sponsored featuring Dr. Darryl Tonemah presenting on the effect of trauma to children and adults. Dr. Darryl Tonemah is an American Indian health psychologist and musician of Kiowa, Comanche and Tuscarora heritage.

Prescription Drug Safe-disposal Event
April 5, 10am-2pm, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Michigan is holding its bi-annual Safe Medication Disposal event in the Diag area on the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor campus. The booth will be stationed on N. University Avenue. It is a community service event put together by the College of Pharmacy and two partners: Advanced Care Pharmacy Services and Yellow Jugs & Old Drugs. The goal is to raise further awareness on the importance of safe medication disposal in the Ann Arbor area.

 

Inter-Tribal Youth Climate Leadership Congress
July 5-12, in Shepherdstown, West Virginia you can join students from across the country to tackle climate change and related environmental issues impacting Native peoples. The mission of the Inter-Tribal Youth Climate Leadership Congress is to develop future conservation leaders with the skills, knowledge, and tools to address climate change and conservation challenges to better serve their schools and home communities.

Men’s Circle
